About the event
This is a clay hand building course for beginners. Whether you worked with clay in school, took a one day workshop, or have never touched clay, this is the course for you!
We will cover three basic techniques of hand building: pinch pots, the coil method, and slab building. The first three weeks will include guided projects in each technique. In the final three weeks, participants will have time to work on independent projects with guidance from the instructor. The course will also cover glazing your work once it has been bisque fired.
