Pottery Wheel 1 - 6 Week Course

This is a pottery wheel course for beginners. Whether you tried the wheel in high school, took a one time class, or still call the pottery wheel "the spinning thing" and have never touched clay, this is the course for you! We will cover the basics of making forms on the pottery wheel, we will cover making bowls, mugs & vases, how to use different pottery tools, how to shape your piece, how to trim your pottery, how to add handles or other embellishments, all about glazing your work, the kiln firing process, and more!

This course meets every Sunday, 2 pm- 4:30 pm Dates: 11/2, 11/9, 11/16, 11/23, 11/30 12/07. Classes missed by students cannot be made up. If TTPS cancels class, we will set a makeup date that fits TTPS schedule.

All participants must be age 16+

$250 + cost of clay. ($40/25lb bag)
