About the event
AGES 12+ Participants under 16 must be accompanied by a ticketed adult.
This Try It class is a chance to get your hands in some clay and try out the pottery wheel. This is a very basic beginners course where we go over the steps to make a simple pot on the pottery wheel. Each participant will have 2 balls of clay to work with and may choose one of their pieces for firing, glazing, and glaze firing. If you wish to keep your second piece, it will be an additional $15 due the night of the class. Return 2 weeks after the class to glaze your piece.
Don't forget, pottery is MESSY! your clothes will get clay on them, but it is all washable! We provide an apron for each participant.
